bug check
We Live in Central Wisconsin and have had problems with ticks and Lyme's disease in our horses and dogs. We started using bug check this spring on horses and dogs and have seen a very noticeable reduction of ticks on our animals. There's also a great reduction in welts and and scabbing from bug bites on horses.

"grainista"
This past spring, after much research and discussion, our barn members decided to give Bug Check a try for our 20 horse facility. As an aside, across the street from us is a large dairy farm with a huge composting pit which adds to our fly population. Within the first week of the 1 scoop per horse, there were no flies on the manure piles, in the pasture or in the stalls! We were thrilled and pleased. We continued throughout the very hot and unusually wet summer with continued success. We also had no ticks on the horsed even when camping! We will definitely continue with this product. It lived up to our expectations and per person cost was quite reasonable, too!

Interesting Results
I have been feeding Bug Check from February to after fly season for several years. I purchased a new horse this spring and put him on Bug Check with the other horses. What is interesting is that my horses come to the barn with maybe a few flies on them, while the new one has 25 to 30 or more. This makes me think that the Bug Check so saturates the system that it continues to work even on the "off time". I am expecting less flies on him next year as he "soaks up" the Bug Check this year. In fact, because of being able to see the difference the Bug Check makes, I have decided to not take them off during the winter and give it to them year round.

Just want to add that this product helps with ticks too! Fellow neighbor horse owner has trouble with ticks and her older gelding has lymes disease and we have several dogs diagnosed with it also. However, in the past 5 years we have seen maybe 3 to 4 ticks on our horses and we have been a regular bug check user for years. We got our neighbor to use the bug check! Horse owner in PA

Life Saver!
I have a mare who used to be absolutely miserable during "bug season"... until Bug Check! I almost couldn't ride her outside in the spring and summer because she was so bothered by the bugs, and she was always coming in from the field with big bumps/bites/welts. All of that is kept under control with Bug Check. One time I ran out, and that was all the proof I needed that this stuff works!

Bug Check works for me
I have been adding this for about a year. I had a boarder who got bumps from bug bites. Last summer he did not have any- I do feed year round and now have just my 2 horses here. We have alot of Ticks in NYS as well. The logic is using less fly sprays by using this, seemed to work for me- I used very little spray last summer and horses were fine.

Bug Check
I had every horse in the stable on this last year and it worked great! In addition to much fewer fly and tick problems, the horses' coats & hooves looked better and their manes and tails grew and look healthier! The horses had no problem adjusting physically to it or eating it.

Bug Check Works!
We own a boarding stable with 30+ horses. We had been on a chemical feed thru fly control, and decided last year to try Bug Check as an optional program. We had about 15 horses on it, with great results! No bugs, no ticks on horses or related diseases, and coats with dapples for the first time ever! This year the Bug Check Program is mandatory, and everyone was thrilled by this! Keep up the good work Dr. Dan!

Ticks be gone
We camp with our horses and have used Bug Check for a couple years. I knew it helped but found out how effective it was this spring when we went camping in a heavily tick infested area. Everybodys horses had ticks on them but ours were dramatically minimal compared to our riding companions. The ticks we did pull off were barely fastened and dead. As we ride through lots of streams and rivers, I love protecting our horses from the inside out.

Bug Check
About 2 years ago, we skeptically tried Bug Check. We are no longer skeptics. We have 5 horses and one mare that is very sensitive to bugs. We had to keepher in during the day. Since she has been on Bug Check, she can go out daily with the other horses. We love this product!! Thank you, Dr. Dan!
